A ‘WICKED’ WEEK OF HALF TERM FUN WITH VIVACITY

The words ‘half term’ might strike fear into you, but if you’ve got kids there’s plenty on offer to keep your little monsters out of your hair thanks to Vivacity including scary sports, fantastical beasts, spooky shows and an adventurers club.

Vivacity’s range of holiday clubs will keep the kids, aged 4-13, entertained with fun filled programmes. And, each day has a new thrilling theme – no day’s the same.

Kids can enjoy a variety of activities with the Sports holiday club including NERF wars, Got to Dance and swimming. Plus, try out some spooky games… if you dare.

There’s loads lined up taking place across four Vivacity sites including Hampton Leisure Centre, Regional Fitness and Swimming Centre, Jack Hunt Pool and Gym, and Werrington Leisure Centre.

Why not drop the kids off at the ancient Bronze Age site of Flag Fen for Adventurer’s holiday club where they can discover what it’s like to be a Roman soldier, uncover treasure in the Big Dig Tent, get creative with clay and meet the sheep.

They can learn what Peterborough life was like 900 years ago with ‘Fantastical Beasts’ at Peterborough Museum.

They’ll get to delve into young explorer storytelling, meet historic monks and create their own masterpiece. There’s also a chance to encounter mermaids and poo-flinging beasts!

The creative types should head to Vivacity libraries where there’ll be craft and storytelling sessions.

Explore the tale of ‘Whatever Next! To the moon and back with Baby Bear’ or try a picnic on the moon and make a cardboard box rocket – get the kids to take along a teddy to try it for size.

As it’s Halloween why not treat the family to a spooky show at the Key Theatre – there’s Snow White and The Seven Ghouls or You’ve Got Dragons plus, keep an eye out for Vivacity’s family films that will be showing throughout half term.
