Ever wanted to be part of a big movie? Well Peterborough’s Lamphouse Theatre group are giving you the chance to play your part in their new blockbuster.
They’ve been keeping us entertained (and themselves) throughout the lockdowns with all kinds of online fun and for their latest project they decided to make a Peterborough movie. Now they’re staging a series of free online workshops so you can play your part – and it’s not just actors they’re looking for.
Lamphouse Theatre have spent all year watching movies on Netflix. Now theatres are getting ready to open again they have to perform, but they’ve forgotten how to do it. So, they’re going to make a movie on stage instead, and you can be a part of it!
In their BLOCKBUSTER project Lamphouse will work digitally with 300 people from Peterborough to make a blockbuster movie, and the show will be performed on stage in front of a live audience (when restrictions allow).
There’s a whole range of online workshops that you can take part in, from singing to acting and even drawing. Take a look at the list below, and remember places are limited so make sure you sign up before it’s too late!
Lamphouse’s BLOCKBUSTER workshops are all free, and take place online. Sign up information can be found at www.lamphousetheatre.co.uk/blockbuster
