BOOK NOW FOR THE LADYKILLERS OF ORTON BRIMBLES

Fancy a wacky alternative to the traditional panto?

Well, Eastern Angles have the perfect post-Christmas treat. Staged in the Key Theatre Studio from January 23-27, the theatre company’s latest show The Ladykillers of Orton Brimbles will be a mad-cap musical spoof inspired by the famous Ealing Comedy with a few local references thrown in.

Eastern Angles have a reputation for producing imaginative and slightly bonkers shows that are always a refreshing antidote to the usual festive fare. They love to poke fun at famous books, films and literary characters setting their stories in deepest East Anglia.

In the past popular shows have included Mansfield Park & Ride, a Charles Dickens spoof entitled Round the Twist and, last year audiences were treated to Stoat Hall an anarchic re-telling of Hilary Mantel’s Wolf Hall complete with a secret gang of furry stoats!
