Starting to panic about the Christmas shopping?
A two day market at Peterborough Cathedral should help with dozens of stalls selling unusual gifts.
Launching on Friday November 22 – the same day as the city centre Christmas lights switch-on event – this craft and gift market inside the cathedral should be a stress free shopping experience.
It continues until Saturday November 23 and you can avoid the queues by booking in advance.
Ditch the usual socks and box of chocs and find something a little more inspiring to pop under the tree this Christmas.
There’ll be an array of wonderful stalls brimming with unique handcrafted gifts, artisanal treats, and delightful decorations. Each vendor, chosen for their commitment to quality and creativity, brings their own touch of magic, offering everything from bespoke jewellery to delectable festive goodies.
Head of Marketing and Communications at the Cathedral, Paul Stainton said: “Our Christmas Market promises to be a truly enchanting experience, reminiscent of a festive fairy tale. We invite everyone to come and immerse themselves in the magic of the season.”
It looks set to be a more pleasant shopping experience with festive lights and the soft sound of carols while you browse with a mulled wine and hot chocolate.
Book in advance for £2.20 and avoid the queues or pay on the door for £3.00.
