CHARITY WRAPPING STATION RETURNS TO QUEENSGATE

Writer: ESP OnlineESP Online

Queensgate has Christmas all wrapped up for you!

If you’re all fingers and thumbs when it comes to wrapping and the thought of tackling meters of paper and sticky tape has you reaching for the mulled wine, don’t panic, the wrap station is coming back to Queensgate.

This year, Queensgate Shopping Centre in Peterborough is running the gift-wrapping service in partnership with volunteers from Anna’s Hope, Queensgate’s charity of the year. The service, which will start on Friday December 1, will be located at the bottom of the escalators (outside John Lewis) and will be armed with wrap experts able to turn the trickiest shape into a work of art.

For a small donation, you’ll have the perfect gift to give to a loved one PLUS all money raised will go to the charity to help make a difference to children, young adults and their families supported by the charity.

Mark Broadhead, Centre Director at Queensgate Shopping Centre said, “We are thrilled to welcome Anna’s Hope to the centre this Christmas. The gift-wrapping station is great for both shoppers who haven’t yet mastered the art of wrapping and also the charity as it is a great way of fundraising throughout the festive period.

“No matter if your gift is big or small, pop along to the gift-wrapping station and for a small donation, your gift will be ready to take home and place under the tree whilst also donating to a great cause at the same time.”

The Anna’s Hope charity gift wrapping station will be running every day from Friday December 1 to Christmas Eve. As the station will be run by volunteers to Anna’s Hope, times and hours of the station may vary throughout this time.
