The popular Easter Beer Festival returns to Charters bar in Peterborough this week, running from Thursday April 6 to Monday April 10.
Fingers crossed for a glorious sunny weekend so we can all enjoy their amazing beer garden and sup up outdoors. It's family friendly and free.
You’ll be able to take your pick from over 20 real ales, locally and nationally sourced, along with more than eight different ciders and a whopping 35+ gins. Cheers to that!
If a pint makes you peckish you can now also enjoy a pizza at Charters to keep your strength up.
Their new Italian and Thai Fusion pizzas are available from the container bar outside.
In true Charters’ style there’s plenty of free live music lined up during the course of the beer festival to enjoy.
First up its original indie rock & rollers, Lounge Lizards, who’ll be serving up a gold platter of catchy melodies and a slice of guitar driven heaven on Friday April 7 from 10pm.
The Saturday night session sees five piece rock covers and punked up pop band Circa 73 take the stage from 10pm.
Then you can chill out with a beer on the Sunday afternoon from 3-6pm when Stamford singer-songwriter Chloe Lorentzen performs an acoustic set of her own original songs and popular covers, accompanied by Tom Sandison on bass.
