COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS STRICTLY WITH CASSIDY!

Here’s the first sneak peek of local hero Cassidy Little taking to the dancefloor for the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special and doesn’t he look a star?!

Former Royal Marine medic Cassidy Little from Market Deeping stole the nation’s hearts when he became the first People’s Strictly Champion for Comic Relief this year. Despite losing a leg in an explosion whilst serving in Afghanistan he stunned everyone with an amazing Paso Doble. For the Christmas show he’ll be reunited with his partner from the People’s Strictly, the lovely Natalie Lowe.

In this year’s Christmas cracker of a show, six couples will each perform a magical routine themed around a host of family favourites including Alice in Wonderland, Jack Frost and Scrooge, in a bid to be crowned Christmas champions 2015 and lift the famous Silver Star trophy.

The beautiful model and TV presenter Abbey Clancy returns to the Strictly Ballroom where she lifted the Glitterball Trophy in 2013 and for this show will be partnered by the brilliant Brendan Cole.

Gorgeous Harry Judd became Strictly Champion in Series Nine, the McFly drummer partnered Aliona Vilani in 2011, but for our festive fun Jo Clifton will be his dance partner.

Hunky actor Tom Chambers won Strictly way back in 2008 with partner Camilla Dallerup, he was only the third male celebrity to lift the Trophy. For the Christmas Show, Tom will be partnered by South African Oti Mabuse, who made her debut in the UK Strictly this year dancing with boxer Anthony Ogogo.

Stunning Lisa Snowdon also featured in the 2008 Strictly and danced against Tom Chambers in the final that year. She came third, despite scoring 40 for both her Foxtrot and Cha Cha in the Final. She will be partnered by the dashing Pasha Kovalev – who’ll be returning to The Cresset next April with another live show.

The final contestant is lovely Alison Hammond who appeared in panto at The Cresset last year as the genie in Aladdin while she was filming for Strictly. The TV presenter became an audience favourite in last year’s Strictly due to her beaming smile, infectious laugh and fun-loving parnership with Aljaž. For the Christmas Show she will be partnered with the delightful Robin Windsor.

Sir Brucie and Tess will be delivering the sparkles on Christmas Day so tune in to (hopefully) see Cassidy win once again!
