EASTER EGG HUNTS IN PETERBOROUGH


If you’re looking for somewhere to take the kids out for an Easter egg hunt here are a few suggestions…


On Easter Monday Peterborough Cathedral is inviting families to have egg-cellent fun hunting down clues that will lead them to their own full-size Fairtrade chocolate egg.

The giant egg-shaped clues will be dotted around the Cathedral, both inside and out, and once you have found them all and solved the puzzle you can claim a Real Easter Egg, complete with an illustrated booklet telling the Easter story.



The Peterborough Cathedral Easter Egg Hunt runs on Monday April 10 from 10.30am until 4.00pm, with last entry at 3.15pm. The trail is free for anyone not claiming an egg, but you do need to book for them as well as for the ones who’ll claim their chocolate prize.



Tickets are £5 for anyone claiming a chocolate egg, and free for accompanying friends and family (booking still required). Advanced booking is strongly advised and you can book tickets via the Cathedral website. https://www.peterborough-cathedral.org.uk/143/section.aspx/142/easter_egg_hunt



Get out in the fresh air at the Ferry Meadows Easter Egg Hunt on Friday April 7 from 10.30am-2.30pm.



Can you help the Easter Bunny to find all the hidden Easter eggs? You will explore the park looking for pictures that will lead you to your Easter egg prize at the end. It’s £10 per booking which includes two Easter egg prizes and is suitable for any age.

You’ll be hunting for Easter eggs with a difference at Flag Fen Archaeology Park running from April1-16.


Eight dinosaurs have laid their eggs around Flag Fen’s parkland, can you help them find out which eggs belong to which dinosaur?



Set off on a trail round Flag Fen and, using the clues and following the dino-chart, you can work out which dinosaur the eggs belong to. It’s a great day out the whole family can enjoy plus there are prizes to be won!




Beautiful Burghley House near Stamford is holding Easter entertainment in the Sculpture Garden on Sunday April 9.


Hunt for clues and solve the riddle to claim a full-size Easter Egg from Burghley's Easter Bunny from 10am – 5pm. Entry to the Easter Egg Hunt, is included in a House & Gardens Ticket or Gardens Ticket. Pre-booking is strongly recommended.
