While potential students took a look around Peterborough Regional College at its recent open day, existing students put on a fantastic hair and fashion show on the theme of Through The Ages.

The event was a big success with in excess of 300 visitors estimated to have visited and The Hair & Makeup End of Year Show went without a hitch.
The hairdressing and makeup students had been working all day on their models creating their chosen look.
The theme being ‘Through the Ages’ saw looks from Madonna in her 80’s style through to Lady Gaga and back to Prehistoric and Edwardian looks.

The night also launched the new part-time and evening course guide for courses starting this September. Over 40 new applications came in on the night for part-time courses from accounting to photography and complementary therapies to health & social care.
Potential new students got the opportunity to have a look around the College’s facilities, speak with tutors about different courses and even have a go at some activities including flambes in Parcs Restaurant and filming in front of a green screen with the media team.

Full-time course options such as travel, hospitality, construction and hairdressing were busy with more full-time applications coming in for September, reminding students that it’s not too late to apply.
Peterborough Regional College are enrolling now and throughout the summer for part-time courses.
