If you’re desperate to get out an about or to up your activity levels there’s now lots more to do once again at Nene Park in Peterborough.
The Nene Outdoors Team are now running full pay and play activities plus you can enjoy some retail therapy at the park’s visitor centre and gift shop which is also open.
The Nene Outdoors team have just fully reopened with pay and play activities now available 7 days a week at the Watersports and Activity Centre on Gunwade Lake in Nene Park.
Activities are available between 11am and 6pm, however bookings must be made in advance on their online booking system (for pedalo and cycle hire) or by calling the team on 01733 234193.
You can get out on the water whatever your age or ability with their Swan pedalo rides, open canoes, Kayak (single or double), row boats, Stand Up Paddleboards and dinghy hire or take to the country park paths with cycle hire.
There are a number of changes to their usual hire procedures to ensure the safety of staff and customers, so make sure you check their website for full details.
The Visitor Centre and Gift Shop in Ferry Meadows is also open again daily from 10am to 5pm with safety measures in place. The shop has an exciting range of summer gifts and homeware available, including their very own wood products and of course, the ever popular duck food.
The Visitor Centre will also be open for general enquiries, car parking memberships and renewals, and to find out what’s going on day-to-day in the Park.
