The whole family can have a wild time at the Peterborough Museum with special events to keep the kids entertained this Easter.
Enjoy your staycation here but head into the city centre for The Wild Escape on Tuesday April 4 and April 11.
The museum is packed with loads of interesting things and this is your chance to delve deeper into the natural world through its natural history collections. You’ll be inspired to learn more about the wildlife around you and there’ll be opportunities to get hands on with the museum’s specimens and learn why animals are so colourful.
To keep the kids amused there’ll be lots of creative crafts to get stuck into, and the chance to make something to help wildlife on your doorstep to thrive.
Both days for The Wild Escape are on from 10am – 4pm and it costs £3 child, £4 adult, £12 family (2 adults, up to 3 children) and under 5’s go free.
Adding to the wildlife theme there’s also a Wildlife Crafts & Trail on selected dates between April 1 and 15.
If you’re looking for a cost-effective way to have fun this Easter, just join in the wildlife themed creative crafts and trail around the museum, inspired by the museum’s natural collection. It’s just £2.50 per child.
There’s a great café on site too so you can grab a bite to eat and perhaps pick up a few gifts and treats in the shop.
