Hampton Leisure Centre is opening up again on Friday September 4 bringing back access to fitness facilities in the area after months of closure.
It’s time to get exercising again! Following the successful reopening of Vivacity Premier Fitness and the Regional Fitness & Swimming Centre, the Hampton-based gym and fitness studio will reopen to customers at the end of this week.
In line with other venues, Vivacity and the council have undertaken thorough risk assessments and measures are in place to keep customers safe, these include a new online booking system, social distancing measures and increased cleaning and sanitising measures across the gym, studios and equipment.
Members returning to Vivacity Premier Fitness and the Regional Fitness & Leisure Centre have expressed how reassured they feel by the safety measures that have been put in place:
“Great job at the gym. Felt really safe with the process, the cleanliness and the limited numbers in the gym and pool per session. Well done guys.”
“I was definitely nervous, but after my first visit felt completely safe and on a massive exercise high!”
Classes and gym sessions are bookable online up to 3 days in advance. Full details of the safety measures and opening times can be viewed on the Vivacity website. The sports hall is temporarily closed for public use.
Hampton Leisure Centre is a dual-use venue, also home to Hampton Library which will also reopen on Friday September 4.
