KATANA RESTAURANT OPENS IN PETERBOROUGH

The new Japanese Pan-Asian restaurant Katana opens in Peterborough today.

The food offer will span over eight different menus featuring over 100 dishes so you will be spoilt for choice with sushi and a Teppanyaki table where you can watch the chefs in action.

The owners are promising a tasting menu ranging from sushi and sashimi to sizzling meat skewers and more.

ESP’s Karen Devine attended a special launch event at Katana last night and says it’s a stunning new addition to the dining out scene in Peterborough – “It’s a really beautiful restaurant, wonderfully decorated – well worth a visit!”

From traditional Sake to high end spirits and handcrafted cocktails Katana intends to bring some real flair to the city.

The venue on Broadway has previously housed Gaston and Malayba so it is fantastic to see it brought back as a restaurant to breathe more life into this part of town. It should be ideal for dinner followed by a show at the neighbouring New Theatre.

The interior of Katana Peterborough is beautifully designed and includes a gorgeous private dining room to seat large groups at a long table.

The arrival of Katana follows the recent opening of another restaurant in Peterborough, Las Iguanas the Latin American chain, which has revived the former Bill's restaurant building on Church Street adding to the city's options for dining out.

Katana is at 44 Broadway Peterborough
