It’s back! Saturday May 4 and Sunday 5 May 5 (May Bank Holiday weekend) the beer garden at the Angel Inn Yarwell will play host to the 2nd annual Knobworth Festival!
This great little music, real ale and cider festival was devised to raise awareness of testicular and prostate cancer – and the pub is hoping to get a local GP to be there to offer advice on the subject.
There’ll be live music from Lexi Green and The Indigo Blue, Blackout, The Helix, We Sell Tigers and Four Wheel Drive, all MC’ed by Peterborough FM’s Rurality Show DJs Jim Boulton and Olly Thorley.
Entrance is free, but they tell us donations will be ‘extracted’ from people in various guises – whether it be dedications, auctions, T shirt sales and participation in quizzes and games.
Last year the event raised over £1600 for the charity and is looking to beat that this year.
