Peterborough is set to get festive!

Get the family ready for the big city centre lights switch-on celebration in Cathedral Square this Friday with 2 hours of feel-good fun and entertainment to get you in the Christmas mood.

The stage show kicks off at 5pm on Friday November 22, with the lights going on at 7pm.

The free stage entertainment will be hosted by PCRFM’s Kev Lawrence and Keith Dalton.

Music will be provided by local acts, including the Peterborough Cathedral Choir, Peterborough Rock Choir, Teddy Newberry, Chanel Hughes and Gabriella Pineda Rodrigues.

Performances will also be included from The Key Theatre’s panto Snow White and The Cresset’s panto Cinderella – and for the first time ever, there’ll be a DJ set from Peterborough legend Eddie Nash!

We’ve also been told that princesses, mascots and some Daleks are coming!

The big switch-on will be performed by former EastEnders star Cheryl Fergison along with the Mayor of Peterborough Councillor Marco Cereste and Father Christmas.
