MUSIC RETURNS TO CENTRAL PARK IN PETERBOROUGH IN AUGUST

It’s not long to go until music returns to Peterborough’s Central Park so make sure you grab a ticket fast for one of three different sessions.

Central Park will become a beacon of live music catering for every taste this month as Academy Events host ‘two days of non-stop live entertainment for the people of Peterborough, by the people of Peterborough’ with the Central Park Music Festival 2021. It will be staged on the weekend of August 21 and 22 and will feature an eclectic mix of local performers, artists and bands.

Opening with Proms in the Park, headlined on the Saturday afternoon by Classical Reflection, the fantastic Peterborough twin singers who’ve not only featured on The Voice UK but have performed numerous times at The Royal Albert Hall and even sang the national anthem before the Carabao Cup Final at Wembley Stadium. They’ll be ably supported by Steve Bean, Steve Bingham and Land of Hope and Glory from 11am – 3pm.

The Saturday evening will bring hot holiday night vibes to Peterborough as Ibiza in the Park rounds off the opening day, and DJ Nick T will headline a packed early evening of DJ sets running from 4pm – 10pm.

Sunday will be the turn of the bands as Nicole Lawrence tops the bill at Bands in the Park, but there is also a full programme of excellent live music with no less than ten performances across the day from 11am – 10pm. The line-up is Nicole Lawrence (as seen on X Factor), Up Next, Mark Stevens, Andy Hughes, The Deps, The Gangsters, Electric Warriors, Sound Injectors, Caustic Lights and The Expletives so it should be a great event.

VIP Day tickets for the event start at £15 and numbers are limited so be sure to visit www.academyeventsltd.co.uk to secure yours.
