If you’re taking a walk around Ferry Meadows there are some great photos to appreciate as well as the lovely views over the lakes.
A new photography exhibition is on display alongside the path between the Visitor Centre and Badger Play.
The park invited entries into a monthly competition to produce a fundraising calendar but had so many fabulous pictures they’ve decided to put several on display.
Throughout 2020, members of the public were invited to send in their photos from across the Park, capturing the varied landscapes, seasonal colours and beautiful wildlife. Each month, a new winner was crowned with the accolade of being featured in the 2021 Nene Park Trust fundraising calendar.
Joanna Bacon from Nene Park Trust told ESP – “We were inundated with so many amazing photographs from a really talented bunch of visitors, which inspired us to develop the concept of an exhibition, featuring both the monthly winning photographs and our other favourite entries received.”
The fundraising calendar can be purchased in the Visitor Centre and their online shop for just £8.99. All proceeds from calendar sales go straight back into nurturing and maintaining Nene Park.
The photographs featured in the exhibition were taken by:
