NEW WEDDING SHOP IN WHITTLESEY

The owners of a new independent wedding boutique in Whittlesey are feeling the love and say they’ve been overwhelmed with local support following their opening.

The Glass Slipper run by mother and daughter-in-law Stef and Marie King has relocated from upstairs premises in Peterborough to ground floor premises in Whittlesey and has been officially opened by the town’s mayor, Councillor Kay Mayor.

The owners say it’s their mission at The Glass Slipper, to ensure every customer feels truly special.

“With our selection of bridal gowns, prom dresses, mother of the bride outfits, and accessories, we take joy in helping our clients find their perfect ensemble and say 'yes to the dress'.

"We had a fabulous evening on 1st February hosting some local businesses to raise a glass to our new boutique at our official opening night.  We were honoured to have Kay Mayor, Whittlesey Town Mayor, officially cut the ribbon and we would like to thank Kay and all our guests for joining us in celebration.

“The warmth and support extended by the local community has been overwhelming, and we're thrilled to now call Whittlesey our home.”

Whether Valentine’s Day meant a proposal or you’re already on the way to planning your big day - or maybe just going to the prom - follow The Glass Slipper on Facebook or Instagram and head to their website www.the-glass-slipper.co.uk for more details.
