All aboard for a brand new Christmas experience at Nene Valley Railway!
Peterborough's heritage railway is promising an all new, never seen before Christmas experience this year - Christmas at the Railway: The North Pole Adventure.
This is a fully immersive festive experience with 14 professional actors, as well as volunteers and will see visitors journey through an autumn forest, snow frosted portal and Santa’s workshop. There children will help the elves make toys before meeting Santa and Mrs Claus to receive their gift. Tickets include a round trip on the train with on-train performers and the whole event will last around one and a half to two hours.
Chris O'Regan from NVR said - "We are very excited to share this experience with our visitors, whether they have been coming for generations or for the very first time. This is our biggest family event of the year and has been put together with Darling Princess Parties."
Their on-site café franchise, Origin8 have put together a food offering for this new experience that you can pre-order from their website and collect prior to boarding the train.
Christmas at the Railway will run on selected dates between November 30 and December 24. There is an accessibility coach available on some of those dates, and there is also a Festive Lounge, which seats up to 16 people in their own private carriage with a dedicated Elf to entertain them. These are nearly all sold out so be quick!
