Over a thousand visitors have visited a stunning new art exhibition in its opening week at Peterborough Museum & Art Gallery.
Paul Kneen's highly anticipated exhibition, PAINtings, opened on 13 April with overwhelming support from local art enthusiasts and the community.
We dropped in to take a look for ourselves and here at ESP we would thoroughly recommend it.
PAINtings is presented in a meticulously curated sequence and offers visitors a unique and immersive journey through Kneen's artistic evolution over the past year.
Spanning three rooms, the exhibition guides visitors through the various stages of Kneen's distinctive style, from its experimental origins to its final evolution.
Through his dynamic use of colour, texture, and form, Kneen (from Stamford) invites us to contemplate the complexities of human experience and find solace in the enduring power of the human spirit.
Reflecting on his collection of work, Paul Kneen says - "While the subject matter may appear sombre, I've infused each painting with a sense of vitality, hinting at the resilience of the human spirit.
"In today's tumultuous world, it's imperative to acknowledge the collective struggles we face, both internally and externally."
