"Paper Art is an immersive event for everyone to enjoy and be inspired by," says Katie Chapman, Marketing and Commercialisation Manager at Queensgate Shopping Centre. "We have been host to many art exhibitions over the years but this promises to be one of the most magical ones yet.”

At the heart of this enchanting exhibition are five impressive murals, each meticulously crafted using the intricate ‘quilling’ technique. These intricate pieces of art represent nature in all its splendour, showcasing the remarkable talents of the artist, Miss M Smith.

There are various captivating features where you can engage with the exhibition so if you’re popping into town make sure take a look.

Don’t miss the Photocall Rose Garden where you can step into a garden of giant flowers, pose and celebrate the arrival of spring amidst a stunning backdrop of paper blooms.

There’s the chance to win a Fujifilm Instax Mini 40 instant camera by uploading a picture of yourself at the Paper Art event on social media with #PaperArtAtQG.

Take a wander through the Giant Garden where you’ll discover ten towering giant flowers, each 1.60 meters high, meticulously crafted from crepe paper in various shapes and colours.

Fifteen delicate paper butterflies will be strategically placed throughout the Centre, adding an extra touch of charm to the overall experience.

You can also immerse yourself in an art space that recreates a flower garden, complete with towering cardboard flowers and roses. The Fantasy Flower Garden is perfect for photo opportunities and offers insight into the art of Origami.

"We're thrilled to showcase Miss M Smith's exceptional talent and her unique approach to paper art," adds Katie Chapman. "This exhibition promises to be a garden of fantasy, where visitors of all ages can immerse themselves in the magic of paper and the beauty of nature."
