Thousands packed into Queensgate shopping centre to see children’s favourite Peppa Pig, Heart FM and Santa light up this year’s gorgeous decorations.
The centre looks thoroughly festive now it’s full of pink glitzy mirror balls, flashing lights and snowflakes and should certainly get you in the mood for buying all those Christmas treats!
Heart FM presenter Jaye-Louise Knight revved up a huge crowd eager to see their favourite cartoon character and Peppa didn’t disappoint!
The team from Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall also joined in the fun as they’re the centre’s charity of the year as they look to raise £6 million to build a new hospice on the Longthorpe site.
There was a great atmosphere and it all kicked off the Christmas shopathon in style.
