The countdown has started to the 44th Peterborough Beer Festival this month.
It’s all taking place on the Embankment from August 22 – 26 and we can’t wait.
With larger marquees, a bigger outdoor drinking area, more seating and over 56,000 cask conditioned pints available, this year’s Peterborough Beer Festival is looking good!
The Key Keg and World Beer bars will be making a return, as well as a fantastic selection of cider, perry, wine and gin. Undoubtedly the largest selection of gin ever seen in Peterborough.
The Key Keg bar offers up to 10 pours at any time offering a choice of almost fifty vegan friendly ales, lagers and sours.

Of course PBF is not only big on beers but big on live music and jigging along to some great tunes with a beer in hand makes this event a real feel good festival.
Mike Lane from the Peterborough & District branch of CAMRA who bring us the event old ESP – “Following the fantastic line up of entertainment during The Willow Festival, do come along and offer your further support for many of our local bands performing during the Peterborough Beer Festival. We have a huge stage, a concert sound and lighting system/team and some very hard working musicians offering their time to entertain you to their very best of their ability. As they say – something for everyone!”
For who's playing on what day/night just head to the ESP Gig Guide page on this site.

Of course drinking leads to the munchies and as ever there'll be a wide range of food vendors on site as well as fair rides, games and stalls.
If you’re keen to get in quick and get to the city’s longest bar a little faster you can beat the queues on the Embankment by buying your festival entry tickets online and then use the dedicated entry gate for speedy admission to the site. Unfortunately, this is not yet available for CAMRA members but may well be next year.
