Time to get your rainbow flags out and the face paint on!
This weekend Peterborough Pride will be embarking on its biggest parade ever to bring some much-needed colour across the city and to show support for the city’s incredible LGBTQIA+ community.
This Saturday (August 20) starting at 3pm, you’re all encouraged to don your finest flower power inspired outfits for a colourful parade leaving the Stanley Recreation Park. Join the Pride march through the city centre and stop for an amazing celebration event hosted at The Green Backyard on Oundle Road.
Promising some fantastic performances from a range of LGBTQIA+ talent, there will definitely be something for everyone at this year’s Pride.
The celebration event and march are free to attend, with Peterborough Pride’s social media channels already confirming that the line-up will showcase an incredible array of dancers, DJs, cabaret acts and drag performers, including the much-loved local star Teddi the Drag Queen.
With the forecast for Saturday promising some sunshine, make sure you show your support by attending a city-wide celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community this weekend.
Our ESP Paparazzi photographers will be there so keep an eye on our social channels afterwards for all the pictures.
