Hundreds of fans queued at London Road to get up close and personal with their idols from Peterborough United and to see their new silverware – the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
The ‘meet the fans’ session at Peterborough United on Thursday April 10 had to be extended beyond its allotted time as so many turned out to get autographs.
Wembley goalscorers Josh McQuoid, Shaun Brisley and Britt Assombalonga were joined by skipper Tommy Rowe and were kept busy signing autographs for supporters who just kept coming!
Fans had their photograph taken with the trophy and were excited to meet their heroes in person.
The event proved so popular that Posh are hoping to organise a trophy tour so watch this space and keep an eye on www.theposh.com for more.
ESP Magazine will be featuring a Wembley photo special in the next issue out from April 30 with coverage from the day and the ‘meet the fans’ session so make sure you grab a copy!
