QUEENSGATE LIGHTS UP TONIGHT WITH PEPPA PIG!

Tonight’s the night (Friday November 15) to see the fabulous lights display in Queensgate shopping centre!

Everyone’s favourite Peppa Pig will be switching on the Christmas lights as well as making personal appearances at 2pm, 3pm, 4pm and 5pm, giving children the chance to see the country’s most famous character.

Heart FM’s Heart Angels will be adding to the merriment with festive songs and a Christmas Creation station, which includes face painting, card making and letters to Santa from 2pm – 6pm in Central Square. Heart FM will start the big countdown from 6pm, alongside Peppa Pig and Father Christmas, lighting Queensgate up for Christmas.

Father Christmas will be spreading his merry cheer throughout Queensgate until Christmas Eve in his very own grotto, located in North Square. Then grotto officially opens after the light switch on so just head to North Square to book little shoppers in for an early Christmas present or photo with Father Christmas, for £4.50 each.

During the festive season Queensgate is extending its opening hours. From now on the centre’s open until 6pm on weekdays, with late night shopping on Thursday and Friday until 8pm. From December 2 through to December 23, the centre will be open even later, allowing visitors to shop until 9pm and enjoy free parking weeknights after 5.30pm*. In the run up to the big day, Queensgate will also open an extra hour every Saturday until 7pm, and will remain open until 8pm on Saturday December 21. For all those last minute shoppers, the centre will be open from 8am – 8pm on December 23 and 8am – 5pm on December 24.

(*Free parking valid from 5.30pm until 11.30pm from 2nd December until 23rd December).

See our full coverage right here after the event and in the Christmas issue of ESP Magazine out on November 27 – it’s our 15th birthday issue too so don’t miss out!
