Queensgate Shopping Centre turned up the heat for shoppers on July 9/10 by putting on a two-day fashion and beauty extravaganza to celebrate Fashion Through the Decades.
As temperatures soared to the near 30s, Queensgate celebrated fashion from the 80s with a host of stylists, make-up artists and retailers such as Superdry, Michael John Hair and Elsie & Me from Westgate Arcade that showed off the latest summer looks, put on beauty masterclasses and gave expert advice.
Hundreds of fashionistas flocked to the centre for a selfie, inspiration and even a boogie as the DJ played a host of 80s-inspired tunes to continue Queensgate’s 40th anniversary year party.
“The atmosphere was fantastic and the turn out was incredible, even with the weather being so hot outside,” said Katie Chapman, Marketing and Commercialisation Manager.
“We are now entering the summer sale season so it’s the perfect time to shop in centre and get a bargain or two.
"Queensgate has some incredible international and local retailers which made this event appeal to all types of shopper looking to get the latest on-trend look.”
Queensgate is now looking towards the summer holidays for its next big series of events. Watch this space for more information.
