Santa Claus is on his way to Peterborough… and you can meet him at Sacrewell Farm this weekend!
The team at the popular farm attraction have been determined to stage their annual Christmas experience and with a little extra ‘elf and safety’ in place the kids can visit Father Christmas at Sacrewell on selected dates from December 12.
Things might be a little different but Christmas isn’t cancelled. You can meet the Big Man at the Christmas Farmhouse and give him a wave before he heads off on his epic Christmas Eve journey.
Immediately after a chat with Santa, head straight to his Christmas mini village in the Playbarn area to join their fun present trail.
General Manager Lee Scowen said: “We’re delighted that we’re able to offer a Christmas experience at Sacrewell this year as we know it’s a highlight for many of our visitors.
“We’ve obviously had to make some tweaks but I’m so impressed with the way the team here have taken the challenges outside the box and created a really magical but safe wonderland that will still have that Sacrewell Christmas sparkle.”
Children are invited to take their own personal letter to Santa and post in his letter box in the Post Room area. While they wait for their turn on the present trail they should keep an eye on the Sacrewell Elves doing their top-secret jobs ready for Christmas Eve.
If they’re on Santa’s good list they can choose from the special ‘gift selector’ and one of the elves will send their present down the chute for them to catch at the bottom.
All Christmas tickets include one gift each and a choice of a morning or afternoon admission to the farm and outdoor play areas (booked separately).
There’s limited capacity at the Christmas 2020 experience which is operating in line with current government restrictions and social distancing, therefore pre-booked tickets only and a strict one-way system will be in place around the site.
Available dates are December 12th, 13th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th*.
Sacrewell has also teamed up with Oakberry Trees who will be selling fresh cut trees at the centre throughout December.
