Get ready for six whole weeks of summer adventures at Ferry Meadows in Peterborough guaranteed to keep every age entertained!
Starting Saturday July 20, there’s an exciting line-up of activities and events running daily throughout the summer holidays. Packed full of outdoor adventures, family activities, wildlife workshops and holiday clubs - there's something for everyone to enjoy this summer.
Throughout the summer there’s Pay & Play fun at Nene Outdoors with a huge range of activities on Gunwade Lake, available between 11am and 6.30pm each day. Daily watersports activities include dragon and swan pedalos, row boats, stand up paddle boards, kayaks and canoes.
Try the Nene Outdoors Olympic Challenge and complete five different land or water activities throughout the Six Weeks of Summer for your chance to win an exclusive sailing or paddlesport taster session for six.
There are holiday clubs for kids age 8-13 packed full of exciting water and land-based activities. From kayaking and paddleboarding to climbing and bushcraft, there's something for every young adventurer to enjoy! Available every weekday in the summer holidays, starting on Monday July 22 (excluding the bank holiday). It’s £43 a day or book a full week and save 20%!
Take a cruise in the new eco passenger boat and enjoy unique views of the lake and wildlife around Ferry Meadows. Boat trips run daily during school holidays. Under 3s go free and well behaved dogs are welcome!
Stretch your legs and explore the park following the Ferry Meadows Holiday Trail. Pick up a trail sheet from the Visitor Centre for just £1, answer the questions as you walk around the Park and return to the Visitor Centre to claim your prize to grow at home.
There are other family activities to enjoy on set days during the holiday including Indoor Archery – July 23 and August 8 & 20. There’s a Treasure Hunt and an Orienteering Challenge both on July 25, and the Climbing Wall will be available on July 30 and August 15 & 29.
The Big Jump Inflatable Fun Park will be there from August 22 - 31, a 300 metre obstacle course, huge inflatable play area and space themed toddler zone. 3-hour wristbands are £12 for children aged 5+, and £5 for toddlers. Tickets on sale from August 1.
If you just want to relax try Foodie Fridays on August 2 & 16. Take your friends and family to Ferry Meadows for an evening of live music and fantastic food from the finest local street food vendors from 5pm – 9pm.
Don’t forget the Summer Nights season too when you can enjoy open-air cinema and theatre in the heart of Ferry Meadows!
