A new exhibition celebrating fashion and sustainability called Style Stories launches in Queensgate Shopping Centre on Saturday September 28 in partnership with Jumped-up Theatre.
This inspiring event will showcase a collection of 20 photographs featuring local individuals sharing personal stories about their clothing. The exhibition invites you to reflect on your own relationship with fashion, celebrating cherished pieces and encouraging a more environmentally sustainable approach to style.
From 10am to 5pm, you can immerse yourself in a day filled with creativity and inspiration. The event is designed to spark conversations around fashion's impact on the environment, promoting mindful choices that celebrate individuality and sustainability.

In addition to the exhibition, there’s the chance to participate in a variety of free, hands-on workshops suitable for ages 12 and up. The activities include upcycling, embroidery, and Indian block printing, providing a unique opportunity to learn new skills and give new life to old garments.
We are incredibly excited to bring the 'Style Stories' exhibition to Queensgate," said Verity Swinscoe – Wigmore, Marketing and Events Co-ordinator at Queensgate Shopping Centre. "Fashion is such a personal and powerful form of expression, and this event is a wonderful opportunity for our community to explore that connection while also considering how we can make more sustainable choices. We invite everyone to come along, share their stories, and be inspired."
