Peterborough, prepare to air your sirens – the D-Day Darlings will soon be landing!
Despite bombs dropping all over the town, Peterborough stood strong through World War II. Paying tribute to this significant era, the D-Day Darlings will be singing ‘The Songs That Won The War’ with two performances on Saturday June 7 at the Key Theatre.
Set in the heart of wartime Britain, the show tells the story of a vocal-harmony trio seeking to get their big break in the heart of WW2. It features a range of memorable 1940’s songs from the likes of Gracie Fields, The Andrews Sisters and Dame Vera Lynn, who’s also a keen supporter of the show.
The D-Day Darlings will be performing at 2.30pm and 7.30pm and tickets cost £15 adults and concessions are £13.50.
