THE VENUE OPENS IN STAMFORD

Writer: ESP OnlineESP Online

There’s now a new place to head in Stamford promising to be the perfect venue for all occasions.

What was formerly the Quayhole Kate’s nightclub building has been transformed and while the Riverside Cafe downstairs, run by local chef Thierry Daugeron has been open for a while, the upstairs area now called ‘Riverside The Venue’ has also formerly opened.

With a beautiful restaurant, impressive chandeliers and a stylish function room and bar area this venue moves from daytime dining or afternoon teas through to evening entertainment.

‘Riverside The Venue’ restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday and also offers afternoon teas, accompanied by music from a pianist on Saturdays and Sundays – booking is required though.

In the evenings there’ll be an eclectic mix of entertainment in future ranging from live bands to cabaret nights, DJ events to comedy and jazz – clearly something for all tastes!

Not only that, this beautifully designed venue is available for private hire for your own special functions for up to 200 guests.

If you want to pop into the Riverside Cafe downstairs, it’s open from Monday to Saturday, 10am – 5pm and on Sundays from 10am to 4pm.

Light lunch is served everyday from 11.30am to 2.30pm and you can even enjoy a glass of wine too.

Upstairs though, the newly opened ‘Riverside The Venue’  should prove a great addition to the evening entertainment on offer in  the town and we couldn’t wait to take a look.

We’ll keep you updated with news of the events but if you fancy a daytime visit, try the afternoon tea  (pre-booking only) on Saturday and Sunday between 3pm and 5pm.
