If you’re looking to head to uni this year but your head’s spinning with options, University Centre Peterborough is taking to the web to give you all the help you need to make those all important decisions.
There’s no denying it’s been a tough time recently and trying to map out your future on top of everything is likely to have been even more difficult.
There’s no need to stress as University Centre Peterborough has come to the rescue with plenty of advice and support with their virtual 1:1 online advice sessions which are proving popular.
Don’t let Coronavirus cramp your planning, just hop on your phone or laptop and get some one-to-one advice to help you make your decisions – all for free!
UCP is running regular sessions designed to help students with advice about degrees, student finance and the UCAS application process plus you can ask them questions.
The next 1:1 virtual advice sessions are available throughout August between 10am and 4pm so just book your slot with a member of their team and they’ll be able to fill you in on all you need to know.

They can answer all your questions on entry requirements and whether they can offer you a place as well as advice on how student finances work and what you’re entitled to. Ask them whatever you need to know about the UCAS application process and the next steps after applying.
Things are going to be a little different that’s for sure so they’ll be able to talk through the educational developments that have occurred due to the Coronavirus situation.
The great thing about these 1:1 sessions is that they’re tailored to you and will only provide the information which is relevant. You’ll have about 30 minutes online with one of their team and there’ll be the opportunity to ask questions.
The UCP team are available to help students (and their parents) who’ve already applied to university, in the process of applying or still considering options.
After the 1:1 session they’ll be able to arrange for you to speak to the relevant academic staff (if needs be) so you can go into more detail about the course.
It’s all pretty easy – once you’ve booked your place, you’ll be sent a link with joining instructions for the free virtual session. All you need is a device with a camera (such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC) so they can chat to you and show you information on your screen.
