DESTINY 2 – THE WITCH QUEEN

PEGI RATING: 16

DEVELOPER: BUNGIE

REVIEWED VIA XBOX ONE X, OUT NOW

The legendary shared-world first-person shooter Destiny 2 once again lights the way with its majestical The Witch Queen expansion.

Running alongside new seasonal content with Season of the Risen, your Guardian looks to take back the Light from Hive God Savathun in a mysterious – and far more taxing – destination called the Throne World.

Along this dark road you form an uneasy alliance with the Cabal as you tackle Hive enemies that now wield the same powers as Guardians. With a brand new campaign, weaponry (cue The Glaive) and crafting system, matchmaking activities, and landscape to explore – complete with new public events and patrols – this really gives Bungie’s genre-defining Destiny 2 an extra grandiose layer.

Coupled with new seasonal activities that included PsiOps Battlegrounds, a Synaptic Spear artefact, and an expanded Void subclass, there’s a veritable feast of new content that really takes the franchise to the next level – whether you’re an established Guardian or newbie.

It’s time to let the Witch Queen exalt her magical spell...
