If you’re looking for a pick-me-up there’s a wellbeing event being held on Saturday September 28 in aid of charity that’s packed with advice, tips, and therapies as well as plenty to buy.
The wellbeing day is from 11am – 4pm at Queen Katharine Academy in Walton, Peterborough, it’s raising funds for the Brain Tumour Charity and there’s a lot going on! There are around 30 stalls and around 10 people giving talks, demos and classes as well as a jewellery making workshop.
Organiser Melanie Healy told ESP – “I chose the Brain Tumour Charity as it’s very close to my heart. My dad passed away with a brain tumour 8 years almost to the day of the event. It was very sudden and we didn’t have much time left with him between diagnosis and his passing.”
There’s a huge range of wellbeing related stalls on the day so whatever you want to try or are curious about there will be plenty to engage with and to buy.
At the event there will be Tarot/Oracle card readers, hypnotherapy, Reiki, Body Shop, Do Terra, Neal’s Yard, 1 to 1 Cambridge Diet, IMET therapy, NLP coaching, wax melts, homemade soaps, homemade bath bombs, customised clothing, Partylife, Magnetic wellness jewellery, crystals, herbal teas tinctures, printed T shirts & babywear, crafted crochet toys, silver jewellery, crystal jewellery, handmade vintage scarves, hair accessories and handmade cards.
There’ll be a variety of demonstrations throughout the day as well including Laughter Yoga, groove sessions, Kirtan chanting singing, Tai Chi demo, a body confidence workshop, Past Life Regression talk, Heartmath talk, mindfulness talk and a hypnotherapy talk. There’s food too with the Happy Café.
Admission prices will be £3 for adults, under 16s free and payment can be on the door or via Evenbrite.
